MA State Inspection Boston Area?

Does anyone have a recommended place for an inspection, where they will use my jack pucks to raise the vehicle properly? I've owned the R1S for a year and I'm overdue. Boston area preferred. Thanks.

When I did my state inspection in MA they didn’t require lifting the vehicle. Maybe because the truck was new at the time. I went to Two Guys Garage in Lowell though, so about 45 min north of downtown Boston.

They definitely need to lift to check the front suspension with every subsequent inspection. Thanks for the recommendation, but that's a bit too far.

I've gotten mine inspected twice at United Auto & Truck Services in Malden and haven't had any issues if you're interested in trying a shop that is at least familiar with Rivians (though last time I was in I asked if they had serviced any others and they told me I was their only Rivian customer).

Thanks for the recommendation. Do you know how they raised the vehicle - jack pucks, removed the panels, or just lifted it on the frame? My main concern is lifting the vehicle improperly and damaging the battery.

I spoke to the service center and they said they are not applying for an inspection license as it would require them to inspect any car, ice or ev, that shows up.

I had my first MA inspection 3 weeks ago. Never thought about the fact that they would probably lift the front end and check the steering. Post inspection all seems fine but I haven’t stuck my head under the front .

I bought my own set of pucks and brought it to RDExhaust in North Billerica. Raised the vehicle to the highest setting, put the pucks in, and the guy took it from there. Show up mid day, they are less rushed and will do it your way.

Just checking in on any updated places to bring an R1T in for inspection, tire rotation, etc. in the metro west/north area? Inspection is coming due.

I used Shell in Newton Centre. They were very cooperative with using my jack pucks to raise the vehicle.
