Lucid at Tysons

I know quite a few here follow Lucid so I'll report that this morning we went up to the Apple store at Tysons (northern Virginia - in the DC area) and noticed that Lucid has blocked off a pretty big chunk of square footage right across the corridor from Apple. Tesla has a "salon" in this same mall but it looks pretty puny compared to the Lucid space.

That's exciting news! I'm really looking forward to seeing all of the new EV players as they roll out, along with all of the change they will bring to the automotive environment over these next few years. As upscale as Lucid is, I'll be intrigued to see how fancy their "salons" will be.

The concept of mall storefronts is genius. In the Portland area, I've seen the crowds in Tesla's mall space while seeing dealerships rather empty that same day. Change is good and all of these new manufacturers, along with the upcoming EV's from legacy OEMs, are going to change the game in a big way.

Will definitely have to check it out, my friend who was in miami sent me pics of the lucid store he visited which was really cool (posted pics in the other lucid thread) but for right now there is 0 indication of Rivian in the DC area or Nova area as of yet in terms of a retail presence.

I'd think that with Jeff Bezos' local presence and proximity to all of the Federal government, a major footprint there will happen sometime soon.

Thanks for sharing! Well worth the time spent watching. Fantastic car with a top-notch retail experience. If I needed a sedan, this is what I’d want. I’m looking forward to seeing these on the road.

Lucid is also opening up a store front here in Orange County, Fashion Island to be exact also next to a apple store and Tesla store.

My wife and I got invited to the Beverly Hills experience center a few months back and were extremely impressed. I even got to sit in the lucid and did their 3D configurator. Haven’t put a deposit down yet but think about it almost daily.

Also for Lucid followers: The merger with Churchil is complete. Your CCIV shares will now appear as LCID.

It's three weeks later and my iPhone still lists them as CCIV.

Sounds like your phone has limitations. Should find a better ecosystem. ?

Yeah. Bloody thing wouldn't charge from the Qi charger in the car and we didn't take any normal chargers because why would be need one given the one in the car? Super tense because we had ventured into the states and were dependent on being able to show valid Covid test reports to Canadian customs to be able to get back into Canada.

The solution for you iPhone owners is cold start the phone. It may take 6 or 7 tries but eventually it works.
