Long Gear Shop shipping times

Anyone else notice the shipping times from the Gear Shop seem to be exacerbated? I wonder if they are being serviced by the service centers and suffer the same staffing shortages.

I ordered all-weather floor mats two weeks ago, which reported to be in stock. Still haven’t shipped.

same here. i ordered last week and they were in stock saying to expect delivery in 3-7 business days but they haven’t shipped yet. did yours go out?

Ok, so I think my order was probably dropped off just as I wrote the below... I'll own it. Was just about 2 weeks, so better than I thought. And the center caps came... cool!

The Gear Shop drop ships - it isn't coming from Normal or the nearest service center, and the service centers aren't involved unless it's something like tires/wheels in which case they are drop shipped to the service center instead of you.

In general, they probably *can't* sell parts right out of the service center unless they are an authorized dealer. For example in Connecticut they aren't allowed to do anything other than service vehicles, and some are trying to block even that. Selling parts at service centers is probably a gray area which they want to avoid until the service centers are on a more stable footing.

weird. i got my order from 9/22 today, which included the all weather mats. they are nice! never got a shipment email from rivian. in fact it still shows up as shipment pending in my account

Slow all around. My SUP mount order was shipped 1.5 weeks after ordering even though it was in stock.

Mine were ordered 9/16 and still haven’t shipped, though even current status says in stock. I reached out to my guide to see if she could find out more info.

I’ve purchased parts at the SC prior, but I have no intention of driving 3hrs round trip to buy floor mats. Hopefully they ship them before it starts snowing.

Depends on what you buy. The soft goods I've bought in the past all shipped with in a day or two.

I did ask via chat in the app if they are experiencing delays and the chat person said the quarter end deliveries of vehicles cause a significant backlog for gear.

My guide confirmed they still haven’t shipped. Waiting on someone to check on the backend.

I noticed today the shop website seems different, harder to tell if they are in stock it seems.

I agree, the time to ship is way too long. Once it ships all is well. Took ten days to ship my crossbars and two days to get from CA to FL.
