Rivian's NY Auto Show Preview Event is currently underway and we're here to bring you live pics of the event!
In case you missed it, Rivian sent out invitations last month to an exclusive event for the pre-order community to see and touch the R1T and R1S as well as an opportunity to speak to some of the designers and engineers responsible for the development of these vehicles.
We'll be updating with any photos and info throughout the event so keep checking back. Special thanks to L. Dandy!

Here's some Q&A info from the Rivian reps:
- Warranty Length - They have decided the length but not disclosing til closer to production.
- Service centers - Major Metropolitan areas will have a Rivian service center. Outside of those areas, Rivian will have approved service center locations that will be just as if you took your vehicle to Rivian itself.
- Infotainment compatibility - They can’t say what will be available at production but they will have the capability to be compatible with Apple Car play and Android Auto. They wouldn’t say which company but they do have partners in the audio realm for a great sound system.
- Entry / Keyfob - The handles are a larger Tesla M3 style making it easier to grasp. You will be able to use your phone and/or key fob to enter, preheat the interior and battery the vehicle. They also explained that the key fob would have a long life and hinted at a small screen being on the key fob.
- Colors - They are trying to stick to the Rivian identity on the interior so they may have no more than 3-4 color options on the interior (NO WHITE).
- Charging - Nothing new on charging. When asked whether there would be charging available on the driver side, they responded only on the front passenger side.
