Leasing R1S based off of the pre-March pricing

Yeah, leasing is its own thing and Rivian's terms are pretty favorable. Pre-March '22 pricing is an incentive of its own, so you'll have to run the numbers and see what is better for you.

We also know that the pre-March pricing won't last forever, we just have not been given a final date. We're sitting on a pre-March reservation ourselves. Timing just never worked out for it. We do intend to get an R1S, but we're just not quite ready at the moment. I'll wait for an update/ refresh and NACS port... Not sure if we'll still be offered the special pricing by then.

I was looking at Leasing, does anyone know what the payoff will be after 3 years, if you buy a ~~$90,000 R1S before the $7500 deduction?

I've heard residual values between 60-80%, will really depend on a number of factors, and it sounds like they wont give lease details until they receive the $1,000 deposit...pretty sketchy...

This forum has plenty of details about leasing and terms. A thread with like 9 pages exists.

the posted info is very close to actual payment. Rivian calculator is very clear.

also no other car company gives you details until they run your credit and other EV brands won’t show you the details until you put a deposit.

Really the only issue is if you have no intent to purchase or lease as you can changing the option at anytime in the process.

Just to be clear my main objective of this post was to see if it was possible to lease the vehicles based on pre-March pricing.

You cannot. This was confirmed to me twice, by my guide, and by someone called a "Lead Field Specialist, Delivery and Mobile Operations."

And when I expressed frustration about this here on the site, and rightly pointed out that a sale at price $X was the exact same thing for Rivian as a lease at price $X (simply sold to the lease finance company) I was told to go jump in a lake.
