wow, check this out: don't understand much what he is saying, but his press car in this review video is an LG R1T (not the one on thumb picture or the one in the first min or two in the video. Keep watching!) . You can see how the color changes under different light condition and the amount dust and dirt on the paint. Great video regardless!

Just watching this again to try to get a full understanding of launch green. I do believe the R1T at the start of the video is the same launch green one.

One more Spanish language look at launch green.

Thanks for sharing. I'm liking the Launch Green more and more, particularly in the sunlight. The videographer must have had some filter on because the video keeps going from bright to dark, but when it shows in true sunlight, the LG is great. I've got Launch Edition LG configured, but some other colors are also compelling. Going to be a decision time at some point. More and more pics of each color will help, but would love to see this one in person for sure.

Yeah those jump cuts between zoom/no zoom are jarring and look like two different colors in that video. I’m currently configured as launch green primarily because (i) it’s exclusive to LE and won’t be made again (purportedly); and (ii) those that have seen it in real life say it looks great. I’m relying on (ii) as well for configuring forest edge interior. But if I’m being honest, I don’t love either based on the photos I’ve seen. They are ok and acceptable, but not wow. Hopefully I get to see these in person and then will know for sure if it’s for me.

It's still disappointing as an early reservation holder (March 2019) that is waiting for the 400-mile battery pack, that I'm unable to select launch green as a color. I really wish they'd reconsider. It would be one thing if they held out so many LEs for both size batteries and I missed the boat. But not even having the option, and being willing to pay the battery upcharge, seems kind of silly that they would artificially keep a certain buyer out of the running for this.

LG looks especially good in these pictures with the “tree” and “lawn” green backgrounds. The two brighter and darker natural greens, provide good contrast. I wonder how it looks in a sea of sage brush…

Thanks for posting! By far the best picture of LG I have seen. Confirms my choice. What kind of wax will protect it best — long haul, where I live in mountain weather and dirt roads a plenty?

I highly recommend a ceramic coating. It cuts my washing time down to less than an hour (inside and out) on my Model X and bird poop, tree sap and bugs just fall off the finish. No need for special soaps either- just regular Dawn, rinse off and dry.

I put ceramic on my daughter’s new red 2021 V8 Tundra. Just wondering if ceramic is the best protection for Rivian too. Thanks!
