My 7/19 R1S preorder of a LA Silver, FE has finally arrived. I have employed the help of two struggling YouTubers to help show you around the vehicle. May I introduce Bimberly Cava, from her channel, "I'm not Narcissistic, just look at me!", and iPyle Donner, from his channel, "Introspective Reviews"...

I turned my back for only 10 seconds, and Bimberly Cava started to climb onto my roof to pose. She couldn't resist a camera. I turned around and yelled at the top of my voice, "STAY OFF MY GLASS!!", shaking my fists like an old man...

Bimberly Cava and iPyle Donner insisted on stopping at the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO since we were in a Frozen Silver Bullet..

We stayed after the tour and partied at the local liquor store...

Later, iPyle Donner decided to measure the charging curve for an upcoming podcast on "Introspective Reviews"...

A few more MODS I did including a detachable carbon fiber TacRig in the center console, Canvas back Black with Yellow stitching, and a full size spare in back...

It's been quite the ride on the forums for the last few years, but it's been an absolute blast, and I've enjoyed all you salty crew members. This has been the most exciting vehicle I've ever owned, and so far, no issues.

A lot of deliveries happening in Canada now! I was thinking about switching to Blue but Silver looks really classy and I couldn't be happier. I was on the highway and when other Silver vehicles are travelling around you, It is hard to realize how many silver variations there are.

The original prototype had aero inserts on the 20s.

I think the picture is referencing the 20" All terrains with carbon fiber insert. This combination never went into production probably due to limited benefits from the covers.

EV Sportline does make an aftermarket solution for the all terrains that look similar to the prototype pictured above.

No, definitely not. They didn't proceed because it was made from carbon fiber and that cost and production challenge was very high. FYI Rivian's single track goal is to ramp production (so they can overcome operating cost losses and survive long term), not worry about accessories - which is why most all their accessories are hit or miss available / exist.

Yet another LA Silver R1S owner. I finally took delivery of an R1S. Picked up last Thursday and overall very happy.

Pickup experience was such a breeze after being rescheduled multiple times… it is hard to believe that is all there is to it. If having to get at service center is their punishment for not having a dealer license… it is not working to discourage buying them. It is 1000x better than dealership experience.

Happy with the R1S but was bummed not to find 12v under screen. Also found a few issues that I opened tickets for. Minor panel defects IMHO. The a pillar trim is not the same alignment for both sides. And the bottom of tailgate has a gap where it meets back bumper. Also I have a loud AC which I can live with for a while. Living in Atlanta I can confirm it gets really warm and can also confirm a windshield cover when parked makes a huge difference. If I didn’t have a newborn I would be taking it apart and putting it back together but so far haven’t even had time to put all weather mats in .

People at Rivian where great communicators and really courteous. And service called me promptly after entering tickets.

I realize we’re pretty “done” with random shots of Rivians, but found these on the website of the shop that did my Stealth PPF + ceramic + tint. Shout out again to Hyer Quality Detail in the Phoenix Valley!
