After reading the issues with slow L2 Charging on the Gen 2 (in part in this thread: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/...-previous-gen1-owner.38356/page-2#post-695833) and a few others, I decided to charge up when I was up and awake. I took a bunch of screen shots (Rivian App and ABRP app w/Live data); probably checked in on the charging every 5% or so. If anyone knows a better way to see detailed charging session, I'm all ears.

So, I had occasion to charge 85>100% 2x over the long weekend and all looked perfectly fine: In both cases, R1S charged at typical charger speed (10-11kW on 60 amp charger and 7.5-8.5kW on 50amp charger). Doesn't look like it slowed down until about 96 or 97%...stepped down a bit, then at 98 or 99% dropped to 4.2kW. In anticipation of slow charging times, I set the car to 85% the day before, but then the charging was only a few hours the following night.

Both cases of charging were in garages: approx. 50 degrees. Batteries in car weren't prepped in in any special way - live data shows batteries mostly 59-62 deg f. Outside temps were mid 40s down to mid 30s (driving before garaging and then plugging in).

One anomaly I did notice was ABRP would report charging speed of 7.1kW and Rivian App would report charging speed of 8.5kW (on the 50 amp charger) - and this was pretty consistent, but not a consistent ratio: Rivian 8.3/ABRP 7.9; Rivian 8.3/ABRP 7.6 etc.

Not sure of the app discrepancy, but if these two charge sessions (Fri, then Sun nights) are any indication, our Gen 2 Dual Max appears to be charging as expected.

@Seano Glad you had some success this weekend. From the other thread, I believe we’ve honed in on 50F being the cutoff where we start seeing throttled charging speeds at >75-80% SoC. You may just be warm enough to avoid it.

You can use tezlab for this I think. I get pretty graphs from it.
