Do you leave the bed rack on the truck 100% of time, or remove it often? Ease of removal/install? I'd love to see pics of the RTT and Awning simultaneously deployed on this rack... thanks for sharing! Really nice setup!
I leave it on, but it’s designed to come off in one piece.
I am hoping to go get some pictures tomorrow of some additional goodies so I will deploy everything.

I just got back from camping but didn’t take any pictures!

As I understand @DCE has the patents for these mounts so that is probably who needs to provide details. Sam at Overland Ruff Rax was being careful what he could share with me because he didn't want to step on anyone's toes.

I am supposed to be getting my roof rack and some extra mounts (hopefully shipping today). I will certainly share what I can when those arrive.
You are correct! I went up there to both dce and talked to sam and then, sounds like the patent is all approved now, and they’re doing an install video sometime this week. I actually just picked up a roof rack in person after I hit my 1000 miles, and just threw it on yesterday. I’ll be posting another additional post with more photos and updates.
If you have questions about the install feel free to reach out! I think I saw yours getting all boxed up when I was there!

I didn’t forget about you. Here’s some pics. It fits. But I have to load the bike with the tailgate down, and kinda lift it up as I close the tailgate. Easy with one bike, might get more complicated with more than two

OP delivers.

Wondering what the over-under is for someone to make a battery pack in the gas-can formfactor & center locker; what color should it be? Electric/neon blue or green? Lightning yellow? Would be sick to have one ready for a quick top off or at least to use your peripherials with instead of the main pack on the vehicle.

@Josh.Gonzales96 , I assume you had to pull up the side rail plastic , remove the Rivian proprietary crossbar cargo mounts, and install the billet Ruff Rax ones. Is that correct?

Apologies if that has been asked before. I ask because we’re considering other (non bed rack) accessories for these mounting points and would like to easily swap them out.
Apologies if OP already answered or others have it already, but my understanding is that this mounts only on the top of existing bed, no changes, and uses the mounts for the Rivian racks to lock into place, but that no removal of plastic top body cladding is necessary. This is just a guess from what I've seen on the photos, read, seen in the forums previously on the Ruff Raxx, bc. I am considering it once/if I ever get my own pre-ordered white buffalo myself.

Are you getting the Overland Ruff Rax roof racks (say that 10 times)? If so, please post pictures and details when you get it.

That is correct, no modifications necessary mounts to factory points

Here is the 1,000 mile efficiency update. It isn't too bad, it's actually about right where I was getting with the tent by itself on my bed. So I'm confident in saying the bed rack alone is a very minimal range hit compared to the tent

Kind of fun you have better efficiency fully loaded and on 20’s than I do empty on 21’s ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it is odd, I do see some people posting getting 1.7 driving, and it’s crazy to me, but I’ve also seen people post 2.3 and 2.4. Efficiency is weird. I guess this thing is a brick on wheels so it’s already not very aerodynamic , hard to make it worse!
