Just got the new spare tire cover/extraction tool - how do you use it?

Does anyone have instructions on how to use this cover? I just got one since my experience lifting the spare out of the R1T storage shows it should be useful. But no instructions!

Anyone have instructions or know where Rivian posts it? It obviously fits around the tire and the handle is obvious too. But would like some expertise before trial and error!

Step 1: Open spare tire compartment.
Step 2: Place tire lift harness on top of spare tire.
Step 3: Close spare tire compartment.
Step 4: Call AAA to finish the job.

I have my ways...

I was surprised they weren't there either. Seems like an obvious place to put a link to them if they refuse to include them with the product.

I've been told there should be a miniature version of the guide that's a tag attached to the cover.

No slip with QR code in package like they did with the NACS adapter? or on a label on the shipping box like they did with the manual tonneau? Seem like a simple device. Remove spare and spare kit as instructed in Owner Guide, wrap it around the tire, then reinstall everything.

AAA has always done all the work for me, even put flat inside trunk.

I'm sure Musk would be happy to sell you a Optimus robot for $1M, so you don't have to risk a hernia. Even with this $70 merch, you'd still have to use brute force to lift. But it makes the job easier because it gives you a handle to grab and leverage, instead of trying to wrestle with a large 80+ lb smelly donut.

Cheaper than a gym membership. Wheel and Tire on my Sierra EV are over 120 lbs per corner.
