Looking good!

I had mudflaps on my Tacoma, but would prefer not to on the Rivian. At the same time, I'd like prevent the rock splash and wear in this particularly hard to maintain area.

Mudflaps would certainly provide better protection in every way, but for occasional driving on rock roads, especially at speeds over 15-20 miles an hour, a removable and pliable rubber plug, inserted from the wheel well side, would at least protect the side of the front fender and door.

Probably a crazy idea......
I like it!

Just a way to plug the hole is on my todo already...very simple to extrapolate from the mud flap but need to test it first, so I will be doing that in a few weeks.
Think soft rubber; not un-like the material plungers are made of.....

Is it important that it's easy to remove and put on? In other words, how viable is it if it just connects to the 4 screws where a mudflap would otherwise connect, but just not stick out of the car's shape and just serve the purpose of making the aero hole not aero?

No screws please (for me). I want something that is EASY to add/remove. Not interested if I need a tool. For lack of a better description, something like this? With a tab to pull it out when you want to remove it.

*It should not however, have a concave space to collect debris.

I believe however that others would buy what you are proposing.

*Edit - For clarification.

well, the scan was easy :) now it's a CAD project, and your buddy Eric is under the R1T working on Sliders right now :). So....once we get the CAD, we can print the 3d in 24hrs. But give me a minute to get the CAD rolling...
Any update? :)

I would also be interested in the roof spoiler covers
I would be interested in this as well as it seems to be an area for improvement with a bed mounted RTT.
