So how do you cut the gorilla tape and not have it stick to whatever surface its on?March 18th Update:
Funny story....
So... don't get the Gorilla seal "scraps" stuck to your clothing as is isn't coming off!
See attached pictures of the shirt I was wearing the other day when installing my seals. A piece of the stuff, unbeknownst to me, stuck to my sleeve when I was rolling around under the truck... This shirt then went through the washing machine (2 hr cycle) and dryer (50 min cycle). I wore the "clean" shirt again yesterday, as I was busily installing an additional central vacuum for my garage, pellet stove cleanup, etc., and noticed a piece of this Gorilla stuff stuck to my sleeve. I tried pulling it off, but that wasn't happening.
One shirt lost in the battle with the running boards and seals! This stuff IS NOT going to come off of your panels w/o some form of mechanical effort, and solvent, to clean the residual "goo" from the panels and RB brackets! Winner!

See OP. There is also a backing that peels off at the time of installation. So how do you cut the gorilla tape and not have it stick to whatever surface its on?
Ahh ok makes sense. I have everything I need for installation but haven't opened the gorilla tape yet.See OP. There is also a backing that peels off at the time of installation.
Friend was telling me about that when I was talking to him (has them on his raptor). Was concerned about door dings going into a possible new job with a tight parking lot.March 21st Update:
Side benefit of installing running boards or sliders …
Door ding reduction/elimination from inconsiderate bastards at Home Depot (or any other place)!

One of the main reasons I wanted running boards in the first place. Saved my F150's doors a bunch of times in parking lots.March 21st Update:

Hopefully I get my RBs before someone decides to ding my doors. One of the main reasons I wanted running boards in the first place. Saved my F150's doors a bunch of times in parking lots.
While hope could be a strategy, it may not be the best one for door protection!Hopefully I get my RBs before someone decides to ding my doors.
All I have is hope. Gary can't do shite (borrow your word), unless I can hire a "body" guard..While hope could be a strategy, it may not be the best one for door protection!
