What length did you use?I purchased on Amazon. There are many options. The key is knowing that the thread is M6 (6mm).

I suggest not shimming the ends, but rather between the bottom bolts where the slides connect. This cantilever is much more effective at increasing the spacing with the gear tunnel door than physically adding space, and preventing them from bending down onto the doors with weight.Curious about the shim kit they sent you. Is it just for one side or both sides? How thick are they? Mine is hitting the passenger tunnel door during extension.
The shim kit includes at least 10 1/8” shims. “Shim as required” is the general instruction set. I ended up using only four on one side. Done.Curious about the shim kit they sent you. I’ll give this a try. I simulated the shims on the side with spacers and I got it just high enough to clear the latch on the door but now the top of the bin is rubbing against the top plastic where the emergency button is.I suggest not shimming the ends, but rather between the bottom bolts where the slides connect. Was it a plate or just washers? The shim kit includes at least 10 1/8” shims. “Shim as required” is the general instruction set. I ended up using only four on one side. Done.
Plates, as pictured in the OP.Was it a plate or just washers?
Ooooh I see, you taped them together. Did you ever try shimming them where they connect? It's money, and made me regret shimming the ends. At some point, I'll pull those washers out, but it's not fun in there haha.Plates, as pictured in the OP.
Not yet, but will try eventually. I really love this system with the open top box installed on the driver’s side. Every time I go shopping, or for takeout (as I did tonight), I look forward to loading the open top box with my purchases!Ooooh I see, you taped them together. So far ... so GREAT.Has anyone else installed this system? Curious how it is working out for you (those who have already installed)?
Great use!So far ... so GREAT.
My "micro-kitchen" is evolving ... using the 3 drawer cabinet + the small box for the middle to hold 2 gal. of water ( converted two one gal. jugs of apple juice).
The other half has a tray for groceries, Instapot™, etc. I made my tray out of wood.
