Anyone else install this? Curious to hear about other installs and uses!

Has anyone else installed this system? Curious how it is working out for you (those who have already installed)?
Works well for me. Have taken it off-roading with some semi rough terrain and some 70mph+ service road and it was rock solid. VIN in the 11k’s and no need for shims on either end but the sleds were not quite long enough so added shims between the sleds.

It would have helped to include some risers for the middle as the sled is just suspended in air except at the attachment points on either side.

I have the 3 drawer system for kitchen stuff and some odds and ends. However, the drawers’ side walls are angled so you lose a lot of usable space. I couldn’t fit a utensil box, my single burner induction stove top and some cookware that according to the dimensions online should have fit. They don’t measure from usable edge to usable edge, they measure from angled edge to angled edge which is deceiving.

I have three open top for my other side and put a variety of equipment in there like ratchet straps, Moorflate 4-tire inflation/deflation system, bike pump, etc.

They also really need an electric outlet system like Range Industries has as it’s super hard to access the outlets with the sleds installed. Very frustrating so I just got a right angle 1ft extension cord to permanently plugg in and give me easier access. You need a left or right pointed one as straight down it’s too short a distance and would require a severe bend in the cable.

Thanks for the information and outlet tips! I too like the Open Top Box and have added "D-Rings" to it so I can bungie down groceries or whatever else I decide to throw in there!

Okay peeps, as you may know, I can never leave well-enough alone, so I performed an additional mod to accompany this great @EV Sportline system - That's modifying and reinstalling the two Rivian "sill plates". This makes for a very finished look and will largely prevent anything from falling into the cavity on each side! I've shared the idea with the great team at @EV Sportline and believe they may provide you all with a template for accompanying this mod - for those that are as OCD as me! 😆

What you you all think? Nope or Dope? 🧐

No one else? I would have thought this system would have been a hot item?

If you go for it, please come back and let us know what you think. We have loved using ours, with the open top box, for groceries and “take out” food. Doesn’t smell up the interior, either!

I have the slides. I had some major issues with clearance on one side (early VIN - 3K). Rivian went above and beyond for me. One side was way out of level. They replaced the spring and a mobile tech spent about 3 hours in my garage getting everything back to spec with a ton of clearance. I know people have had horrible experiences with service, but the Houston one has been nothing short of phenomenal for me anytime I have had issues. I ended up putting the box order on hold until I got my clearance issues resolved. Now that they are, I actually ordered all three of the box options.... I couldn't make up my mind, and the open box was under $200. Anyhow, they should be here tomorrow or early next week. But I digress... I was liking your trim idea. I think that would be a great custom finish option that EV could add to their kit. Oh and before I forget, EV Sportline was fantastic helping resolve my issues also. Had one of their engineers call me. We even texted back and forth with different options to try. They also sent me the trim kit. I ended up adding a few of the shims under the side that had clearance just so it would be at the same level of the one that the mobile tech fixed. And I agree, great product and design by EV. Just unforeseen issues can arise with any new product. All parties involved in helping me were awesome.

Yes, I too have had great support from @EV Sportline on this! The trimming is super easy. Basically a straight cut leaving 1.5” on each side and 3/4” up front! I also love the quick disconnect thumbscrews and d rings for the open top box! Pictures when your done!

Did the thumbscrews and d rings come with the hardware or did you purchase that elsewhere? If elsewhere, any links or sizing info? Thanks!

I purchased on Amazon. There are many options. The key is knowing that the thread is M6 (6mm).
