You're missing a piece of your Rivian jack if you think this is all it can do.
The plastic storage / bottom plate and stand? Yes, this is just comparing the jacks themselves. Either jack can be placed on appropriate stands (please dont do this unless you're on flat land).

I’m probably going to go ahead and buy this. I also have a SafeJack but that’s for my Jeep‘s recovery kit. The only question I have is whether or not you can offer a base plate for loose surfaces like sand. Not a deal breaker. I can always adapt.

Yes, I foresee a base stabilizer in the future 😉. That will be an easy option to add (won't impact the base jack kit); We want to make it safe, so the jack is locked to it and ready for 7-8k lbs trucks. We are not a fan of just letting the gravity hold a jack to a base. Coming soon :)

I ordered the kit yesterday, I would also be interested in a stabilizer base once you offer it.

That OEM scissors jack is super sketchy, I'm really surprised Rivian put 300 screws in a door panel but went with a $15 jack for a 7K LB vehicle.

I have had two incidents in 12k miles with tires getting screws in them. The scissor jack scares the daylights out of me. Pre-ordered mine last week. Plan to keep it in the truck with a breaker bar and 22mm socket going forward!

Hey gang, we are late on the first order because we planned to 'air' the jacks in, but found out we cannot air them since they have hydraulic fluid in them....so we wait for the boat! They will ship in Feb. The stabilizing plate for off-road / soft ground....coming!

Hey @EV Sportline just a suggestion. How about a total replacement for the entire jack assembly in the R1T. 3D print a solution that lets us mount your hydraulic jack, pucks, stabilizer plate, etc, inside the spare tire and secured with the Rivian’s mounting bolt. A nice clean and integrated solution. IMO, you could potentially make your stabilizer plate double as the mount for everything.

Any update on when jack orders will be shipping?
