Just installed running boards on my R1T and was wondering if anyone had an issue with the bracket fit? The rear 2 brackets on each side would overlap with existing bolts / plates. No big deal and a little grinding fixed. Could it be caused by individual variations on each vehicle? If folks are cutting holes to keep the plastic covers, do you see this issue?
I took some picts before removing and fixing (grinding down the end by about 1/4").

I didn't have an issue, i didn't remove the panels from, i use the 4" hole method.

I just tried to install today and I ran into the same issue. Rear 2 brackets on the passenger side are a no go. Was thinking of grinding it down as well but emailed support first to get guidance.

Looks awesome, thanks for sharing - Nice Tesla too!Installed my running board last week, wife loves it easy to get in and out and kneel mode not required. It doesn't protrude as i thought it would, its flush and looks great, here are some picks.

We have revised that bracket accounting for Rivian build variance - happy to ship you a replacement ASAP if needed! Just PM @BrookeRRiv to handle it. In the mean time, it can be ground down to clear.
