I have noticed sometimes the interior lights above the rear door seem to turn on. I recently noticed them on with all the doors closed while driving. I reached back at a stop and touched them to turn them off. After driving another 10 mins in the rain, I look back and they are on again. And then they turn off a minute later.
I also notice if I touch them to turn them on and then I try to turn turn them off on the display by selecting Stay off for interiors lighting, it won’t turn off. I have to select the light symbol to turn them all on and the stay off. This seems odd, and since my kid has a tendency to leave lights on in the car I want to be able to turn them off easily.
Is it just me or do others see some odd behavior with the rear cabin lights.

May have something to do with the rear screen...it has light controls...I'd do a screen reset.

its just holding the two outer buttons on the steering wheel for 15 seconds. It doesn't take long to reboot

I'm having the same issue. Did you find a resolution?

Not really. I am able to turn them on and off from the front center vehicle lights screen. Also there appears to be a control in the back as well that I need to review. My son turned them off from there last time I noticed them. I haven’t put in a ticket. I want to kind of gather more items, but I don’t have many issues to work right now.

I have had random issues like this, I have also wondered if I am inadvertently touched the rear screen and turned them on. I have since started keeping the rear screen locked.

It doesn't happen enough to be tracking much on my end.

It is kind of hard to tell. I haven’t determined if the kids are turning it on in the back or if it is random. Needs further investigation. I didn’t realize there was a control on the center panel in the back seat. I may just be getting pranked.

I have this exact same problem with both second and third row lights on the drivers side (r1s). Have reset the console and locked the rear display with no change. They will turn on and off 15+ times in a 10 minute trip (very annoying at night). If I open the rear drivers door the light above will turn on and off. I thought ambient temperature had an effect on it but now am not sure. I have a ticket open (with 7 other issues, but can't get an appointment until January).

Interested to see what they say to you. I haven’t opened a ticket, but I guess it could be the lights are too sensitive since they are proximity triggered. Or it could be the vents are pointed that way.

if I see it. Which I don’t very often, but my wife does, I just turn them on and then off from the center vehicle control display.
