I did the exact same thing as the OP, Countersunk M6x30 is what you need.

You could use a 30mm long protruding head (domed, button head, whatever you want to call it) fastener as well, but it will limit your positions that you can attach the tie downs, as they need a flush surface, which is what the countersunk fasteners provide.

You'll need something like this: Countersinking Drill Bit Set

Sorry been traveling for the December. m6x30 mm thats what i used.

Regular bolt.... just took up 3-4 slot on the L bracket cause of the screw no biggie...
