First longer drive today. No discernible hit to efficiency and no noticeable wind noise.

Over the past weekend I traveled 185mi each way on interstate and back road combination. I also saw no noticeable hit on range. My iKamper mini is mounted in the bed position. Needless to say, I was very pleased.

Thats a ProMaster camper van, I actually just sold it yesterday. I built it over the last 2+ years and traveled ~38k miles.

After you posted this, it got us thinking. I ended up canceling the Rivian and bought this instead …

Install was mostly easy, setup is quick. Tent materials are high quality in my opinion. Love the roof windows.

Still room for a solar shower on the side.

How are you liking this 1 year later? Going back and forth about this vs skycamp mini 3, but this has a pretty great discount atm.

well I no longer have it, went a different direction (see my build thread in my signature if you’re interested) and sold it to @Riviot.

that said I still prefer the x-cover to the skycamp because I think it fits better on the R1T, the ability to mount stuff on top and the price which you mentioned.
