If you don’t opt for the all weather door mats, do you get floor mats at all?

What happens if you do not select the $175 all weather floor mats? Does the R1S not come with any door mats at all?

It comes with some standard ones. I have the Ocean Coast and mine came with grey/white/black mats. I actually like them better than the all weather. They hide the dirt more vs the black all weather always look dirty. So I use all weather when I go off-roading. The rest of the time, the standard mats are fine.

It comes with Chilewich mats stamdard. The standard mats don't protect the carpet from spills or water etc.

FYI, the Rivian floor mats have gone up in price. They are now $250 in the gear shop

We use WeatherTech mats on our vehicles. Keeps the floor clean and the mats are easy to pull, empty and wash.

I have used WeatherTech for years. But on checking their website recently it said that at present they don't have measured floor mats for the R1S. Instead they offer what is described as a self-trimming set of mats. I picture having to take a knife or a really big set of shears then try to cut to size the mats and have it all look like something decent. Not drawing me to them at this time.

Or did I completely misunderstand the WeatherTech folks?

I'm using LinerX all-weather mats in my R1S.

Pretty happy with them. Better coverage of the floors than the Rivian-branded mats which don't extend wide enough to cover the entire carpeted area.

I got the cargo liner and seat back protectors from them as well. Decent, for sure. Seat-back pieces are kinda awkward since you have to use velcro-tape (included) to attach them to the seats. That said, given all the moving parts, I don't see how they could do it any better.

If you are looking for something customizable (carpet style, color, stitching, etc), the Lloyd mats are nice. I have the Berber in Black Heathered, with Liner-X below, which are my favorite all weather.

They have them if you put 2022 R1T/S on the Weathertech website, ordering mine (front/back seats, $275 to Wisco) today for the R1T I picked up last weekend. Will post my results, winter is coming!

i see they have them for the 2022 R1S but not the 2023 R1S so i called and they said they have not measured for the 2023 yet. My question is will the 2022 R1S mats fit my 2023 R1S? Has anyone tried? If i am not wrong i dont belive that Rivian changed the R1S interior dimensions from 2022 to 2023.

I got the green interior & it came with the green fabric mats. Look nice, but get dirty/scuffed too easily. Ordered the Rivian all-weather ones as soon as they were available in the gear shop. Definitely like those a lot more.

Ya they were the same for the R1T so wouldn’t imagine they’ve changed
