Hey there! I was back in Austin for a short four-day visit. After having breakfast with a friend, I was driving back into the city. As I stopped at a red light on a sunny, clear morning around 10:30 am, I suddenly got rear-ended. Luckily, I had my foot on the brake, so my car was only pushed a little and didn't go into the cross traffic. The driver who hit me was pressing the accelerator pedal. The cameras captured the entire incident. This was my second time being in an accident as the first time was when I was 16 and a passenger. It's never a pleasant experience.
There were a lot of warning lights, and she hit the bumper and damaged the liftgate. Now, I have to start the process of getting my car repaired. -- Any guidance?
