Hello, I've seen various HP & Torque numbers floating around quoting 710 hp? I then saw the numbers on Rivian's site, which if you combine front and rear comes out to 835 hp & 908 lb-ft of torque as per the R1T pages. With the discrepancies, I emailed Rivian.
This is the response I received this morning:
"Thanks for reaching out to Rivian Customer Service! We love hearing from our community!
I am not exactly sure where the 710 hp is sited from, but you are correct, Eric. Rivian vehicles have more than 800 hp and more than 900 ft-lbs of torque available, which is enabled by our Quad-Motor Drive system."
As always, feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
Stay adventurous!
