How does EV Sportline MagSafe Phone Mount work in Gen 2?

Looking at one of these for my gen 2 - but not sure how this works

For gen 1 it used a fuse tap. But from what I understand gen 2 uses e-fuses. So how does the magsafe get power now? Anyone have insight there?

They send you an ODB 2 adapter for Gen2. I have it and it’s a good design. I did swap out the enclosed MagSafe mount for below which I think is way cleaner. Used a usb-c female to female to connect to power.

I have an ODB adapter but the power never shuts off in either position. How long does it take for your power to shut off?

I finally got mine just a few days ago, but TBH I haven't paid attention to it
