Thanks, good to know they fixed the firmware.
I would suggest picking up the "dumb" version if it's included in the sale. All my connection problems disappeared after I booted the smart charger from my wi-fi network. It basically adds very little value in its current form over the regular one.

Yeah I checked the non-connected version too, but it would only save me 50 bucks compared to the smart version. For that I prefer the option of having the connected functionality. If anything I can always disable the connected functionality.
