HELP- lost front motors R1S quad 2023- turtle mode:: driveable to service center?

can I brave to drive 30 miles with this problem - in this conditions?

I wouldn’t drive it. Call Rivian service and they’ll be able to give you better advice and get you a much sooner appointment.

If it’s an issue that would be covered under warranty, then call Rivian roadside assistance and tell them you have turtle mode. They will arrange for a tow to the nearest service center. If the issue is covered under warranty, then you won’t have to pay for towing.

update: got it back today, fixed! - great service from Blauvelt SC


Vehicle in turtle mode: Upon inspection, found the passenger front axle was not seated correctly
Examined both the half shaft and the drive unit for any damage and found no cause for concern

Drained and replaced drive unit fluid Refit the half shaft

and test drove vehicle twice at highway speeds for 30 minutes each time,
confirmed normal operation of the vehicle Found no further cause for concern at this time

Excellent news! Glad Rivian got it resolved quickly for you. Having it towed was a good move IMO.
