Handy table to determine 12v battery health

I thought I would share this handy internet table for fellow R1T owners;

The voltage of a 12v battery is a good way to determine the state of charge. Here's a handy table with the breakdown:

State of Charge Voltage

100%: = 12.7 - 13.2v

75% = 12.4v

50% = 12.2v

25% = 12.0v

Discharged = 0 - 11.9v

If your battery is:

-Reading 0 volts, chances are the battery experienced a short circuit

-Cannot reach higher than 10.5 volts when being charged, then the battery has a dead cell

-Fully charged (according to the battery charger) but the voltage is 12.4 or less, the battery is sulfated

Also, is any of this true for the AGM batteries used by Rivian, or was this written for traditional Lead Acid batteries?

Good information, but where do I find the state of charge on the display?

Wonder if you can use one of those 12v plugs to read battery voltage.

Went out and manually measured my two batteries both at 13.2 volts.
