I’m only about 2 weeks into these and maybe 600 miles. Did not reset a meter or have any data around usage. Full lifetime average dropped .01 so far - though being in break in still, not surprised. Looking at the guessing gauge, seems similar many times to stock 20s before.
ride quality feels improved and noise drastically improved. Much better traction on the road as well. Feels much more sure footed. I don’t recall what the Pirelli felt like though three years ago, so that may be an unfair statement.

Well, with 800 miles on my new Territories, I had a rapid decompression yesterday on the highway. 0 psi by the time I pulled over. At first I thought I hit some road debris, but I think actually it was a large nail that I must have collected earlier and it got flung out.

At any rate, the hole is pretty clean and nearly dead center and deep in the tread. Good plug candidate.

I just applied a gummy worm plug, holding pressure so far, off the truck. First territory on this thread with a plug? I'll report back if it doesn't hold.
I have 4 plugs currently in a 22" scorpion.....

Has anyone taken these off road yet? I’d love to see some accounting/reviews of use on forest roads. Alternatively I may just find some videos of TRD Pro Tacomas and Broncos off road, I think these are OEM AT tires for those models.

Also, where is this specific model made? I hate to even be concerned with that, but I’m wondering if they are going to increase in price in the next couple months. I was planning to get through the summer at least with my existing LT tires.

Nothing serious. I did some mild trails out around some lakes in my area. They worked pretty well and could move a ton of dirt if you needed to. I probably shouldn't have been playing with Rally mode so much. They didn't do mud too badly either. I did hate having to clean the truck up so much later.

Maybe others can weigh in.

I've tracked down a limited few discussions/videos of this tire. While the Wrangler Territory is OEM for a lot of newer truck models (Ram TRX, Bronco with Sasquatch Package, Hummer EV) it seems they use the MT version which is a different tread design.

The silver R1T in this video uses this tire. I'm actually familiar with this course, having driven an Ineos Grenadier (with BFG KO2) through it. It's very benign, I left all the diffs unlocked on this course and never had a problem with traction despite it being much wetter and muddier.

According to @B Digs , the Wrangler Territory is specially made for the gen 2 Standard pack. Others Wrangler territory OEM are not the same.

I've only done some mild off-roading. The design philosophy for this tire was for it to perform well in all conditions with minimal tradeoffs. There are other options more focused on extreme off-road performance (with significant tradeoffs in other performance areas).

Goodyear uses the Territory name for OE trucks and SUVs. Goodyear works with the Original Equipment Manufacturers to meet the project goals established by the OEM.

The Goodyear tire designed for Rivian is manufactured in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Another quick update. Today was drive it like I stole it day. I was in sport mode all day long. I had the AC on all day between 73-75 for every drive. Road temps were in the 90's or higher.

A lot of my driving was with strong winds from all directions. First part of my longest drive they were about a 45 degree quarter tail/crosswind. Coming back I had a headwind that was at least 20 mph, frequently gusting to about 35-40 mph. I set the cruise control at about 72-74 as I was doing noise reduction testing. I ran up to 90 mph so with the strong head winds, it would result in airspeeds of 110- 120+ mph.

I didn't use conserve mode at all. There was a lot of hard acceleration bursts from lights where I could. There was a little bit of stop and go traffic for the last few drives. I did absolutely nothing to conserve energy. The only reason cruise was on is was trying to take wind noise video and collect data. Most everywhere else I was going faster than the flow of traffic.

Still pretty decent efficiency given the way I was driving and have the AC on all the time. Tires were still quiet as heck at high speeds.

Cruise was set at 74 with bursts higher to test for improvement in wind noise.

Couple weeks into the GY tires so far but not a ton of miles due to work travel. They are SO MUCH QUIETER and such a relief from the noise of the OE tires. I don't mind the size change and the infotainment settings were a piece of cake to change up. I'm getting sorta better efficiency but hard to tell because the weather is rapidly changing around here and the tires have maybe 200 miles on them now so hoping for better over time. So far so good and happy with the change!

What’s your MPK for the Goodyears so far? Substantially better than the Grabbers?

I have about 2200 miles on it and about 2.08. It is slowly going up, but I doubt it would be anywhere close to the grabbers which at 2.32 (Only lasted 18K miles). I'm a little disappointed with the efficiency to be honest.

It would be interesting to drive at the same time as you somewhere and see what we both get.

I just ran my stats as I am not tracking it anymore.

Overall MPK
My 21's - 2.29
Territory ATs - 2.39

I have about 3k miles on my Territory ATs at this point. Most of my recent driving has been 100% in either Sport or AP, often with the AC on since its gotten hotter. Interestingly I've seen a few times were Electrafi said my efficiency was lower than what the TC in the truck said. For example the TC said 2.9 mpk and Electri said 2.7 and it wasn't a short trip. Normally they track fairly closely but lately Electrafi has had a few times that it was about 5-10% lower.

So far, my tire wear is very even. Noise is great as well. It would be more noticeable if it was bad as my wind noise reduction efforts have resulted in a quieter cabin.

I haven't reset the trip "B" since I resetted it when first installed the GY. For the past 500 miles or so, i would say it is got around max of 2.10 kwh according to our daily Teslafi numbers. Driving always been All Purpose and Auto in Standard height. I tried not to change the height since she doesn't like bumpy ride in low mode. But I doubt that has much in efficiency reduction.

this morning on her commute and it is pre conditionted.

Joined the club and had these installed on my Gen 1 Quad Motor this past Saturday. Way quieter than the Pirelli Scorpions, it's not even close.

I am hoping for increased efficiency, but even if it is negligible, I'd be happy to get longer life from the Goodyears along with the quieter ride.
