And still happy with the Defender? I guess my fear is the Terrians, like my Scorpions will be great at the beginning, but not so quiet after the first 5-7k. I suppose the Defender are the safer bet for someone like me, but if looks were the main issue it would be the Terrains all day long. I’ll find out today if they will even install the Terrains. Thanks for the info.
Only about 500 miles in but loving them so far. I have a 2300 mile road trip in March that will really be the test.

My scorpions were LOUD at 27,000 miles. Put on the Defender M/S 2 and they are whisper quiet. Getting better efficiency too. Would’ve gone with the Goodyears but tire shops around me won’t put them on because they are smaller than the door sticker.
What kind of efficient gains are you seeing?

We have the same setup and my scorpions are LOUD even at 17K lol. I'm considering the same M/S 2 tire.

So with the news that we will atleast be able to swap between the OEM wheel/tire options in the next update - are we thinking we input the standard 20" wheels from the Gen 2?

Yeah I'm wondering that too. Planning on going from my 275/65/20 down to 275/60/20 with these tires or the Michelin Defender M/S 2.

Good question. I’m anxious to see what our options are with the software update.

275/60r20 is a 33” OD tire, same as the 275/55r21 and 275/50r22. Pick any of the options that aren’t 275/65r20 (34” OD tire) and it will have the right settings.

I’m on about 650 miles and love these so far. Am going to take it up to skiing next weekend and they are expecting snow. Will see how it handles the snow.

Similar. Just over 2,000 miles and pretty happy. Hard to judge efficiency with the cold. Headed up to NH skiing next weekend with lots of snow in the forecast.

Efficiency has been very solid. I've been running some test for this thread:
https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/quad-mpk-poll-60-mph-and-60°f.39716/page-2

At a steady 60 mph I was getting between 2.93 and 2.99 mpk on tests I ran today in AP mode on my G1 quad. One was a run outbound and the other was back. I had a crosswind both directions. I put in conserve mode and got mid 3's. Pretty efficient tires even though that isn't why I bought them.

Yep, a Gen1 quad (2023 Gen 1.5). Just see the thread I referenced if you haven't already. I always bring the receipts.

Also here is a screen shot from Electrafi that matches with the trip computer posts I have in the other thread. I am posting some of them here for running in AP (the first 2) which map to the first trip in Electrafi. The last is in conserve mode when on the highway and is for part of the 2nd Electrafi run.

The tires are doing pretty well. I also wasn't running any heat or AC but I had the main fans on, the seat fan on, and blasting the radio as it was so damn boring to keep it at 60 mph (61 indicated but 60 according to the GPS). The trip computer always reads 1-2 mph below my speed. It starts really behind the speed and almost catches up.

Also no drafting was involved. AP was at standard ride height. Conserve was in low. The temps weren't warm and the first Electri trip was with the car sitting out and not having driven for at least 12 hours. The includes going through city streets and stop and go traffic. Normally I am at 1.5.-1.8 mpk for the 1.5-2.0 miles it takes to get on the highway. So the efficiency starts in a big hole always for the first part of getting out of the neighborhood. This truck sucks when it is cold.

Absolutely brilliant! I ran my very private test today on the OEM 20s (G1 R1S) and got about 1.5 mpk. I don't know if I will ever be able to do 60mph when everyone else is going >80. Seriously, I believe your numbers. Cheers.
