There's been some interest in a more minimal slider for folks that don't need or want the step-up but still want some protection so their door panels don't look like mine do from off-roading before I put sliders on.
Adam at GOAT Fabrication has been working on a new rail slider that'll be available for both the R1T and R1S. He put a prototype up on my R1T this morning. I should note that the other side of the truck still has their rock slider on, that was one of their original prototypes, since you can still see it in some of these images.
They're also going to be making a version that has integrated recessed rock lighting on it that he is calling the "Night Slider".
I'm planning on putting a set of the Night Sliders on my R1S Tri-Max. I think they should still function pretty well as a step-up for the kids.
Still working through the details on wiring them in but I'm sure some suggestions could be helpful.
