@Burton06 You are welcome to check mine out down in the South Bay. It doesn’t seem unreasonably difficult to swap it to another vehicle. I know Stellar in Sacramento will eventually be doing installs, so I assume they could also support transferring between vehicles if needed.
thank you both! I will hit one of you up if I can make some time!If you make it down to OC I'm more than happy to show you my set up.
The Rivian GFC is one you should really try to see in person, there are a lot of little Rivian specific tweaks the GFC team made for the R1T.
Regarding transfer, the GFC uses the factory tie in points and is very much a "no-drill" reversible accessory.
Your best bet at resale would likely be here or the official GFC forum as the product is specifically tailored to the dimensions of the R1T.
They have partner shops that can offer assistance switching vehicles/ reinstalling, you'll want to check their website for their partner locations.
I have seen folks move these types of campers successfully with a combination of engine hoists, roof top tent pulley systems, and jacks on dimensional lumber, kinda depends on how many years of red neck engineering you've done and your individual risk tolerance.
