It is really annoying at night with people trying to sleep in the car (and how bad adaptive cruise sometimes is) that every time you disengage or reengage cruise or lane keep assist a noise has to play. Anyone else want to lobby Rivian with me to have the option to disengage these sounds? Many cars don’ t have sounds when engaging cruise AND you can obviously see if it engaged/disengaged on the drivers display.

At least reduce the volume in the Gen 2 vehicles. The Gen 2 is way louder than the Gen 1.

It does not bother me, but my wife frequently complains that it is too "chatty" with all the noises.

Doesn't bother me either.

With regard to the volume, I have noticed a bug that appears to be specific to Gen 2. It sounds funny, but the only way I can describe it is that the first time I enable highway assist on a drive, it'll "shout" the first syllable of the highway assist engaged sound. Doesn't really bother me, but I think it's kinda funny

Agree. ?

Send feedback to Rivian thru [email protected] (we’ve tried the method below and have received no response) the app.

1. From the Vehicle Tab (vehicle icon) scroll to the bottom
2. Tap Share feedback
3. Tap No - this step ensures that your feedback is not a service request or question on warranty.
4. Select a topic from the dropdown list and share feedback

You’ll likely receive a canned response. Have sent about 5-6 ideas to Rivian and the response is the same.

Center your idea around safety or attentiveness, and that may give it more legs?!?
