Did you deal with EVBASE? If so how was your experience?
They have been giving me the run around asking for different pictures and refusing to accept the return. I have made it clear to them I will proceed with a charge back if they continue so I'm not particularly worried about getting my refund. It's just up to them if they want the slide back or not.

In the mean time I have ordered a range industries slide and will do a comparison when I get that one. I did fabricate a custom mount so I could test the EVBase/Hansshow slide and there is a lot of flex and wobble at full extension. You will notice many of the other designs use some form of bracing between rails or a third rail to address this.

I'm willing to improve the slide as needed with mods. I'm more concerned about this Hansshow company that is selling these . Perhaps if Chinese they sell the same product under various company names. They use 17track to track shipping, many say it is a scam company. How long did it take you to receive delivery? Where did it originate? What shipping and tracking?
Thanks

Here is the communication I received about my order:

Jun 30: Order placed
July 23: First communication asking if they could ship the slide via a slower method than what I paid for. I declined but they did anyway.
July 30: Received FedEx tracking number
August 14: FedEx tracking number status updated from label created to on the way
August 20: Delivered

This is all the information I had during the ordering process. It was shipped from China via boat apparently and then FedEx picked it up in California. I wasn't given any way to track the international portion of the shipment.

I inquired via email and was able to reach someone in Hansshow installation by phone who was helpful , although it wasn't her job. Appears it has already shipped and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow Sept 13 FedEx. They advertise 4 to 10 days. I'll be impressed if I receive it tomorrow. Looks like they had it in Chino California. One state away from me.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I ordered a Range Industries slide to replace my EVBase one and it's been great. The Range Industries slide ships flat packed instead of fully assembled but that means you can decide which direction you want it to come out. It's about 20lbs heavier also with thicker material all around and an additional third rail. It does not wobble around when fully extended like the EVBase. They also include nice cover plates to replace the trim pieces you have to remove to install the mounting bracket. With the labor day discount the range slide is a significant upgrade for only ~$100 more.

EVBase gear tunnel sled. My experience
Ordered Sept 8
Received FedEx Sept 13
$790 with the 20% discount. Total price. 25% discount mentioned by others.
One large box, fully assembled except mounts and straps. Well made heavy duty product.
Install the mounts. 8 small Allen heads hold 2 mounts to sled.
Easily installed. Remove plastic covers over mount holes inside tunnel door. They snap out.
Tunnel is heavy but one person can lift and place if you have a good back. Easier with 2.
Slide into position and bolt down . 4 bolts well located.

The only issue is the pull out handle for the sled extends too far and tunnel door won't close. No biggy. Remove 4 screws and remove handle. The edge of the sled makes a good handle.
Slides nicely with good clearance in all directions. Will lock in position at several points along its travel. It does have a good deal of Side sway near the end of its travel. Place heavier items closer to the unextended end. I'll keep my heavy floor Jack in the bed in a box and reserve the sled for tools, towels, bottle Jack, pucks etc.
My rating product 9/10
Shipping 10/10 May vary depending on stateside availability vs coming from China
Customer service 7/10. Must depend on email but they were responsive.
Hansshow is the company selling them. Looks like if you order thru EVBase site or Hansshow its no difference.
Recommend based on my experience alone.
P.s. you can use the plastic tunnel end covers that come on the rivian with the evbase slide by simply cutting two slots and drilling 2 holes and it slips in with the mount and snaps and bolts down.

Where do you actually place an order for the box goods slide? I can't find it on their forum?

They gather people and if they have enough to at least break even on the costs, they'll run the project. I think he said ~50 people for this project at this price point.
Yes, per @BoxGods 50 orders are needed. 250 people were on the Rivian Aftermarket website list waiting for final design and pricing to be locked ($995 plus shipping) and the ‘Production Validation Article’ to be installed and tested in an actual truck. See this link for the test unit… looks great to me.

Thanks for this thread, lots of good information. I saw this question was asked, but other than the dimensional diagram shown for the RMAX Sled, I did not see any other post related to the clearance height from the various gear sleds to the top of the gear tunnel or bottom of the gear tunnel latch. This might be important to differentiate when considering these alternatives.

BoxGods: ?
Interrobang: 15" from top of sled/slide to gear tunnel latch.
EV Sportline: 13.25" from top of sled/slide to gear tunnel latch
EVBase: ?
Range Industries: ?
Thunderbolt Adventure Supply: 14.25" from top of sled/slide to gear tunnel latch
Electrified Overland: ?
