Anyways, the bomber doesn't do much for me. I wish they had gone with an MA-1 based design and embroidered the Rivian logo on it. Anyways, I still have my bomber from the Army. ?

I had two awesome Navy leather bomber jackets stolen from my stored duffel bag just days prior to my rotation off of the Inchon LPH-12 in the balmy waters of Haiphong Harbor, RNVN. They had survived numerous HMM-165 combat missions, medivacs, pilot/crew rescues, and even a few minesweeping missions in the aforementioned harbor. Never been able to replace them or find anything close in quality or function. I was already at my new (and final) duty station at Whidbey Island, WA by the time this photo was taken. I really could have used those warm jackets when flying out of Whidbey!

I did a search and didn't see anyone posting this. The tailgate pad is getting attention but Rivian also released a new duffel bag and a packing cube set. Both have Rivian branding but the duffel bag is shaped to fit in the gear tunnel. It looks like a quality product as well.

Nice looking bag, and happens to fit in the gear tunnel but there are lots of nice bags that do. I grabbed a nice day trip Yeti bag and loving that - fits perfect also. I'd rather see other things in the store soon for the actual truck/SUV more, options like a safe storage that is lockable where the camp speaker goes, key cards/fobs/wristbands for purchase, storage/trays mountable to crossbars, a good bed extender, etc. More 3rd party options are fine in time as well.

Same - when they have a blue, red or yellow...I'm buying.

But also for the benefit of this thread, I've had this long flat bag since the very beginning and it's absolutely perfect for the stuff you'd keep in there daily. You can easily slide it out (almost like the shuttle), drop a bag or small suitcase on top and push back in. I'd imagine golf clubs and similar would easily fit on top as well.

Looks like a basic play disc, 175g. Could certainly be used for ultimate but I am very picky about the feel of my frisbees and I have a feeling this one probably sucks.

They released a bunch of new gear today, tailgate pad, duffel, bomber jacket. Good stuff.

I'm still waiting for them to add the brush guard. ?

Edit: I wonder if all that silverware in the gear shop is leftover stuff from camp kitchens they couldn't produce?

Let's be real. If you're playing ultimate, you should only ever be using a 175g Discraft UltraStar. I've had other discs that were very close to the UltraStar but not quite the same, and they just don't feel right!

I'm trying to understand this photo lower on the page. The main product photos don't make it look like it's intended to be used in a backpack configuration (certainly not from one side, possibly from the top straps), but this dude is clearly wearing it like one.

It probably isn't, but if you need to free your hands you have an option.
