Gear Guard No Longer Working?

Have had my R1T a little over a week. For the first 4 or 5 days, gear guard worked fine. For the last couple of days it is no longer recording video clips. I have not changed any settings. I have tried toggling it off then back on, but no joy. I read somewhere that someone did a vehicle reset that may have worked? Anybody have any ideas?

Same here. Mine stopped working after 6 days on April 6th. Called Rivian and got a ticket but seemed like they expect the next update to fix it. I did not try the soft reset.

It is set to Everywhere, and has been since taking delivery. Just doesn't do anything any longer. Opened a support ticket. They wanted me to submit a video demonstrating that it's not working. Not really sure what the point of a video showing something doing nothing will accomplish, but we shall see.

Don't think mine is working anymore either.

I've not tried reset or swap to everywhere. It was working for the first week or so.

Delete your home address in the nav and readd it, fixed it for me.

Mine stopped working after a week. Tried deleting my home address and re-adding, toggling gear guard off & on, changing to exclude home. None worked. :/

I did the hard restart. I didn't contact customer service like it states but it made it work again

I didn’t try since it was a Saturday and someone else on the thread had already said they did and were told a software update was coming. I’ll call them next time.

Yes, infotainment reset. This is common for Gear Guard unfortunately. They are aware of it, but you can still put in a service request. They can at least see how wide spread the issue is.
