It's more like 1:3 for summer or 1:0 for winter.

So the "1 gallon makes 5 gallons" is quite diluted. The Ratio of 1:3 summer and 1:0 winter is from Rivian, windshield fluid recommendation or experience? Also I live in Southern California so no real winters.

Each addict has their own tolerance. Some of these folks have been using so long they need custom made super concentrated washer fluid to feel anything. It’s tragic.

So the ratio is only a recommendation...?! You can just pour the concentrate on the vehicle for a stronger smell. So it is an addiction.

I never understood the hype about the washer fluid until I used my washers for the first time the other day. My fiancé had no idea why I blurted out "holy $#!T that is good", but she quickly understood after a few shots dealing with a stubborn bug splat.

We're both addicts now.

They've created an online portal and you can buy it directly now. One (1) case of four (4) gallons is $102.96 delivered, or $25.74/gallon. If you want it straight from the source, I won't judge!

It comes rated to -9°F but a 50/50 dilution with water gets it to about 14°F.

Shipping is a flat $30 per order +$2 per case. So bulk order means cheaper price per gallon. An order of 20 cases brings it down to $18/gallon. I've tagged all the official signups from PNW, so if you're still in it, holla back!
I'm still in for a case if the bulk buy + delivery to PDX comes to fruition.
Thanks!

I feel left out, I got home from Brooklyn (~3 hrs) and my tank was empty. I poured in the Orange Rain-X and didn't know what I was missing.

Somehow i think they are selling pre diluted “ready to use” fluid, like antifreeze is sold. If so, i will break my addiction and find something else - as the cost can no longer be justified. Time will tell.
I'm going to let my 1 case order go through and get a real bottle in hand for us to see if it's really concentrate or mixed.

It's from the state regulations on the back of the bottles or drums posted online. My OP has a blurry one and the drum pic is floating around. 1:3 is listed for AZ.
