I'm starting with PNW folks to see if there's enough regional interest to justify 144 gallons of the OG washer fluid we all miss so much: Genuine Chemistry's all season windshield washer fluid.

I'm willing to buy a pallet up front, store it, and dole it out at cost. I'm in the Seattle area and we can figure out specific pickup points and times in the future, including a Portland and Spokane trip (i got u @Lil'O Annie). I will not ship it because of hazmat regulations.

The base cost is $18/gallon and I estimate shipping around $4/gallon. I'll share redacted quotes and invoices from GC if we have enough folks.

Please list your desired gallons and preferred pickup point (Seattle, Portland, Spokane).

4 gallons, Seattle here!

Shout out to @atebit for getting pricing and POC!

So here is the deal:
  • $18/Gallon, 4 gallons/case = $72/case
  • 36/pallet = $2592/pallet
  • Whoever orders it would need a tax exemption certificate. Anyone? Anyone? Bueler?
  • Would need to be shipped somewhere that can properly receive a pallet (ie not a residence). Shipping quote would depend on where

Anyone still game?

Sounds a little steep. Is this actually the concentrated stuff?

I thought so too, but that good good ain't comin cheap. The only thing we step on is the 0-60 "oh sh*t!" button.

@atebit offhand, do you know the answer? The more I look at @Blueassassin pics, the more I think it's the uncut concentrate.

I'm in for a case at least. I'll grab it from you at work.

I'm way the hell up here near Anacortes, so I probably wouldn't be able to participate.

Actually planning to purchase wiper fluid is such a weird concept to me. I'm not sure I've ever actually shopped for it specifically, it's one of those "impuse buys" when I'm picking up something else like brake pads.

So funny, I picked up truck on Tuesday drove home. I immediately got notification that I was low on wiper fluid. Guess they ran out before the handoff. Did use it once and noticed nice smell. If that’s the only thing I have to deal with with on truck I’ll be thrilled. This truck is the best vehicle I’ve ever driven. They thought of everything. I especially love the wave you get when you pass another RT. Love it

Sorry I do not. There appear to be general/specific directions on the label but you would need Steve Austin’s eye to read it in those Pictures. I’m sure GC can provide the instructions. The label doesn’t say “concentrate”, so…

I would be on for a few gallons but I’m nowhere near P or NW.

Many of us got the alert within the first few days. I think they forgot to fill a lot of trucks.

Well... If the stuff is that expensive I am sure that it's just a cost cutting measure.
