I am pleasantly surprised that Cops actually bothered to do their job. I called them twice regarding some issues and they could not be bothered.

The guy jacked the car on camera. Pretty compelling evidnce I would say. I'm no lawyer but that seems like a clear cut guilty case to me. Not sure what his defence would be.

People still try and argue, mainly because they hope you either won’t show up to court or will have lost the video. Once you are there, and the DA talks to you with video in hand, the criminal makes a deal or pleads guilty.

I have a lot of experience being the guy with the video sitting in court waiting to present it.
