Front tow hooks rusting

They look great!

It's unfortunate they were rusting at all. And that surface rust isn't covered under warranty. Rivian literally said rust must create a "perforation" (hole) to be a warranty issue when I showed them flaking paint and rust on my gear tunnel arm underneath the cladding.

I used PlastiDip on my Jeep's factory tow hooks several years ago and it still looks perfect even after using the tow hooks a few different times. I've only used straps though, so no chains or anything that could damage the rubberized coating. I only did it to change the color from the factory bright red to color match the white paint on my Jeep. The original red coating on the tow hooks was already some kind of hardened rubber or plastic type coating.

There's really no reason the tow hooks on Rivians couldn't be Plastidipped with great results.

I had this starting on mine, less than a year old, and never touched them. Rivian replaced them free, with zero issues. Can confirm the bumper needs to come off.
You should do them in safety orange, green or yellow/black stripe ;)
