For green, I would go with either matte white or Gloss Yellow.

Indeed taste is very subjective. Most truck guys love to showcase text on the side of truck.

I have had two truck that came with sidegraphics. A Toyota and a RAM. I had both removed. Side graphics are cheesy and make the truck look like a toy. (In my subjective opinion).
