I have a Service appointment in October and one of things is reprogramming the truck. I have noticed that my speedo is almost dead on now where is was 5-6 mph off with the 21's. So I might skip the programming.

The tires on the 20's are 34.1" tall, whereas the tires on the 21's are 32.9" tall. The 20's are an inch taller. You can use the website tiresize.com to compare tire sizes.
You probably shouldn't. The speedo is intentionally off by five percent but the other vehicles systems are correct.

At a local powder coating shop (Fusion Logic) that specializes in wheels.

Great breakdown. I ordered the Black 22s for an eventual R1S but I think I'll change to 21s and powder coat them. Looks similar and can't beat the efficiency especially over time as the battery degrades. I think the 20 Black AT's look the best on the R1T though.
The range hit on the 22s vs 21s is pretty small (compared to the hit for the 20s). If you plan on powder coating the 21s and running without the hub caps, you may see the same hit as the 22s. I think the covers are what help with the extra aero effect to reduce drag for the mileage boost.

The 21s with powder coating do look very nice though

This was discussed in another thread, but on the Model 3 at least, the range hit without the aero covers was only about 3% or approximately 10 miles.

I think some owners here have been getting better than expected range on the 21's without the covers.

I’m pretty sure the main range disadvantage with the 20” is the rolling efficiency loss of the all-terrain tires.
