I kind of did the opposite at camp a couple of weeks ago. Riding mower was out of gas, so had to drive into town to a gas station and pull up to a pump to take the cans out of the gear tunnel and fill. Strangely I felt like it was similar to taking my wife out on a date....to a brothel. Somehow neither my truck nor my wife would be happy about the experience.

Huge upgrade in auditory satisfaction when driving though.
I spent most of my lifetime throwing dollars at big V8's and aftermarket exhausts. At one point, I may have had a man crush on David Borla, and now somehow feel like I need to grieve over the end of the "muscle car" era.

However, Rivian kinda changed that for me at least. I now first hear a big V8, and then notice how slow they are comparatively speaking. The sound of silence and efficient power are just as intoxicating as the sound and smell of petro firing. Bonus one gets a stereo upgrade as well.
