Final Purchase Agreement...sign before seeing vehicle?

Was emailed the purchase agreement yesterday for e-signature ahead of my delivery in a few weeks. Do I need to sign this before taking delivery, or can I/should I get eyes on the vehicle to inspect it before signing?

I signed it before I saw the vehicle, however you can always decline "delivery" once you get a chance to look at the vehicle.

The purchase agreement is just confirming the intent to buy. Some lenders (eg: USSFCU) also want to see the Purchase Agreement before they will fund the loan.

I signed everything before delivery, but it was all done the same week I was scheduled to have the delivery. My delivery was last Friday, July 28th.

And to second what DestreyF said. You can walk away on the delivery date. I did during my first delivery date in June of this year. Also the 7 day return policy is still valid. Well it was last week.

I don't blame you for being cautious about signing for a vehicle sight unseen. Thankfully not necessary to see the vehicle with Rivian. You have two way out if something goes wrong.

1) If, on delivery day, you don't like the condition of the vehicle you can simply refuse to accept delivery.

2) If you accept delivery and within the first 7 days or 1000 miles you decide you don' t want the vehicle you can return it by contacting your guide.

Your delivery specialist will have you open your Rivian app and if you are satisfied with it at that point you swipe up on the last step, which means you are accepting the delivery. After that you still could use the 7 day return policy but you won’t need that because you are going to be too busy having fun with your brand new 835hp electric SUV
