Failure Using the Air Compressor Accessory Kit

I’m trying to use the needle in the accessory kit but it leaks between the needle and Schrader fill valve.

The owners manual doesn’t have much to say on usage. It shows an image of each accessory with the fill valve being threaded. Mine is not. I’m curious how others are having success with this.
