I didn't try the lower parking area. I had two paranoid passengers as it was.

@JeremyP thanks for the thread post! My family is heading down (way down, from BC) to Utah area end of March/early April and I'm collecting lists (upon lists) of places I'd like to go. I already have all my camping booked, so I'm now connecting dots and day trips. The stuff around Kanab to White Pocket area really caught my eye.

I can't quite tell which tires you have, but they don't look like the stock Pirelli ATs, and I'm guessing they aren't based on your Ram wheels. Are they they Goodyear Territory by chance?

My Pirellis are basically worn out and I'm having a hard time deciding between the Michelin Defender MS/2 vs the Goodyear Territory. Part of my decision process is wanting to be able to do some light off-roading to get to trailheads/sites like you've just done!

I did White Pocket with the Defender LTX MS/2. Fantastic tires - and quiet. With the Perellis, I didn't know the motors had a noise.

The tires are 275/60r20 Bridgestone dueler a/t which were the factory tires off a full size truck that I got for $200 (someone lifted their new truck so they were selling the stock tires), so even though they are 115 load rated and not as heavy duty as I prefer, I figured I would give them a shot for trail use. The tires and ram wheels weigh the same as the stock 22's, and I haven't noticed much difference in efficiency. Maybe I'll do a back to back test sometime between the sets of tires!

ust for fun, trying to go back up the steep hill I came down into the wash where peekaboo canyon starts. https://sharpedgeshop.com/it/collections/japanese-knives Always hard to get the steepness perspective in a video! The main trail is much easier!

Steep climbs are tough to capture on film, but your effort definitely shows!
