Ski trip within 3 days of delivery - after all, its an adventure vehicle - no point babying it in the garage...that said, it came with full front protection film from factory, and soon I will be Twrapping (thank you @twraps for all the help with email and fast shipping) some other parts of the paint (will be doing it at home). After a month or so or owning, I will post my experiences, comparison to our Teslas, charging etc.

For now, loving:
1. the quiet & supple ride even with 22in wheels - wow - truly a luxury vehicle
2. the range - more peace of mind than perhaps anything else - but so not used to seeing 50% but 200+ miles remaining - haha
3. premium audio is not bad - my truck came with latest firmware (YouTube etc.) so the hollowness others have mentioned - I didn't notice it.
4. the electrochroamatic sunroof - in winter - it's no big deal. May be summers will be useful.
5. The dark out package absolutely rocks. Saw a Red dark out R1S as well while charging - looks solid. They should make dark out standard - like Tesla did for all their cars - even entry-level cars, back 2-3 yrs ago.
6. Coming from FSD, the Rivian Driver+ (enhanced) is not bad actually. It is doing a good job so far - I had lower expectations.
7. oh - the matrix lights - love them - they are quite granular in turning off specific segments, and after the car in front passes me, the re-illumination of the left side just feels quite dramatic.

Will write more later...Thank you Rivian - you have produced an awesome truck (don't have previous truck experience though - but had rented a Cybertruck for a day).

Looks great! Is that in Tahoe? Just came back from a day trip to Northstar and saw tons of Rivians.

PS am I the only one who thinks that they should stop cleaning the streets so we can have some fun 😂

Don’t know if you came back today or yesterday but today was horrible on the way back (late afternoon / early evening hours). And that never ending Work Zone 55mph limit in the greater Sacramento/Davis area 🐢🐢🐢
I plan on going again in February but this time I will time it so that the streets are not clean. My wife hates it hahah 😂

Excellent. Rivian Blue, too, great taste. I picked up my R1T Tri in Rivian Blue on Christmas Eve and it is the most freaking amazing vehicle I have ever owned. Be afraid, Elon, be very afraid. Drive well.

Range on dual max? I m LE gen1 20s …..
too early to tell... the 600+ mile trip to Tahoe and back (~8000ft elevation), 3-days, parked outside with no plug in at night and temp dropping down to 25 night time, using snow mode throughout the 3-days in Tahoe area with std regen, and lots of stop & go during ski days - 2.2Miles/kWh (22 in wheels with all season ties that came from factory). Avg speed 43mph. This is with 4 people, and truck bed filled with winter gear, skis (we managed to put all the skis in the tunnel - 165cm max length just fit in).
