EV Battery Life in FL climate

Hi! I wanted to see if any Floridians have insight into the battery life here in Florida. My battery in my non EV just died the other day (happened to another car here too) and the repair guy told us that it happens in Florida due to the weather and humidity. Can anyone point me in the direction of good reads on EV battery life and its lifespan in particular climates and if there are any concerns? We have on-order the R1S.

Shouldn't be any issue with the high voltage pack but the 12V (yes, EVs still have 12V batteries, or 2x6V it seems for Rivian) will suffer the same effects of heat as your current ICE vehicle.
