Pre-Ordered R1S Oct. 2021 before the IPO. Was able to lock in Pre-IPO pricing and I am 5 1/2 hours away from the nearest SC so I have been a low priority for Rivian, but at last the delivery is in process.
My Configuration app screen has been in "Processing Estimate" as long as this has been a thing. My Guide contacted me for the first time last week and stated I would be able to lock in the configuration and have access to the Rivian Shop by this next week. This morning my Rivian app let me lock in but still no access to the Shop. We'll see if they open this up to me soon, but at least my R1S ball is finally rolling. I have no VIN yet but the app states "1-4 Months" delivery time. We are excited but expecting actual delivery in 4 months rather than 1. In the meantime, time to get my 2018 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited ready for Trade or sell.
