i was told by rivian that 2025 dual standard wont be qualify for ev credit? is it true?

I was told the same when I tried to do my taxes this year. The message I received from Rivian was - Due to new battery component and critical mineral sourcing requirements of the tax credit, the standard pack in Gen2 vehicles does not qualify.

No R1s qualify in 2025. Lease credit is only path that remains. Riviantrackr made a blog post months ago.
