Gen 2 DM here with the dreaded clunk. Noticed it a lot on my road trip to San Diego a couple weeks ago. Really hope they can just fix this via one of the monthly updates.

About 10%I wonder how negligible the range figures are with stability reduced.... Which is the other way to lock in the rear motors.
I'm actually surprised this hasn't been fixed yet. I'm sure quite a bit of time and money is being wasted by the service center due to this.Gen 2 DM here with the dreaded clunk. For me it went away with 2025.06 - odd that's not the case across the boardI'm actually surprised this hasn't been fixed yet. I'm sure quite a bit of time and money is being wasted by the service center due to this.
Really frustrating that a service appt isn’t available until June lolI'm actually surprised this hasn't been fixed yet. I'm sure quite a bit of time and money is being wasted by the service center due to this.
The “fix” is Wassim saying they will soon offer a AWD locked option for dual motors. It doesn’t actually fix the rough rear axle engagement. It just prevents the rear motor from turning off, thereby making it smoother but with the downside of a slight range reduction.
Evidently, Rivian is aware of this issue and is working to fix it.
