Washington DC are not on the list?! Are they for real? They should know that the first ever Apple store is here in the DMV (Tyson’s corner center) and both Tesla and Lucid have show rooms here. We got some of most richest counties in the country here, and I’m almost certain we have a decent number of the preorder holders here and potential future buyers. How could it possible that Rivian did not mention Washington DC for the upcoming First Mile event stops. Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised because it has been crickets on their possible showroom, service center, or hub in this area, but this is such a letdown.

I went back to instagram but couldn’t find this post on RivianOfficial. Was it fake or they deleted it?

I signed up a while ago. Not sure why they aren't looking into this market more. Every other car is a Tesla.

spotted a Lucid today in McLean. I thought they only delivered a handful cars like last week? Somehow our mighty DMV area got one of them at least. Make me wonder where the hell are our Rivians? No show room, no service center, no proposed First Mile event, and absolutely no customer delivery. I never imagined that I would see a Lucid before a Rivian, given how much more public testing Rivian has done than Lucid did. And now there is ‘rumor’ floating around about another delay for some of earliest reservation holders. I need a drink.
